Endowed Funds - $10,000 is the minimum amount required to establish an endowed fund. The principal of these funds is never spent.
Designated Funds – let you support a specific group while we make sure that grants to the group remain relevant over time.
General Fund – This fund is maintained for gifts not designated for a specific purpose and may be applied to any fund or project at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
Recently the foundation was approved for $5000 Give Ozarks matching endowment grant!!!
Members will be making plans to fund raise May 3, 2016 for Give Ozarks Day. The successful funding of the project will provide an endowed scholarship to be awarded to a Koshkonong High School senior annually.
Current financial needs donations will be used for:
Scholarship funds
Classroom/teacher materials
Assist students to attend state & national conferences
A new fund was recently established with a $500 donation to benefit the Kosh Closet.

The Community Foundation of the Ozarks, in existence since 1973, has a record of successful investment management driven by proven endowment building strategies.
Donations may be made in cash or with bequests of personal property, real estate, stocks, bonds, insurance, or other securities. This can be accomplished through wills, trusts, beneficiary deeds, life estates deeds, transfer on death, or other estate planning.
Opportunities to establish and/or “name” specific purpose or scholar-ship funds are available. Contact any Foundation Board Member to learn how you can play an important role in the future of Koshkonong School students.

The Koshkonong High School -
$1500.00 Youth Empowerment Project Grant to fund conservation activities with elementary classrooms.
$500.00 grant to encourage the Youth Empowerment Program to become involved in fund raising activities and award small grants to teachers in the Koshkonong District.
10,000 place-based grant to encourage Koshkonong history instruction was awarded to district teachers, Theresa Wiggs and Jamie Ball.
